Northern Beaches Women’s Shelter (NBWS) in conjunction with the Northern Beaches Domestic Violence Network is proud to host a special screening of Mille and Tommy—two powerful short films written by Darren Mort that explore the impact of domestic and family violence through the eyes of children.
This event aims to raise awareness and spark meaningful conversations about how children experience domestic and family violence. Through education, storytelling, and collaboration, NBWS invites attendees to view this critical issue from a child’s perspective and consider how we can collectively create safer, more supportive environments for them.
The event includes:
✨ An evening of education, networking and advocacy, focused on the impact of domestic and family violence on children.
✨ A panel discussion with Darren Mort (author & lawyer), Margie O'Neill (local family law specialist) and Marcela Nolasco (child psychologist).
